Money Workshop for Victoria, B.C. Women – Empower Yourself Financially and Overcome Under Earning.

If you’re like many, myself included, your relationship with money is sometimes complicated. Nothing illustrates this story better than the experience of a client of mine, who I’ll call Lisa (not her real name.)
Lisa was the backbone of the business she worked for and had taken on extra responsibilities when the acting manager left for mat leave. Before you could say, “let’s add on more stress to your life,” Lisa was doing not only her job and her bosses, but was covering for others when they took holidays. And here’s the worst part, without increased compensation.
Most of our coaching sessions were spent having Lisa explore the pros and cons of asking for more money and helping her believe that she deserved increased compensation. In most cases, money is about worthiness. Long story short, she presented a strong case to her employer and ended up being compensated beyond what she thought she was due.
Lisa’s a great example of overcoming under earning, which is the title of a workshop I’m giving this fall that was developed by Barbara Stanny, the leading authority on women and money.
Stay tuned for times and dates. Or, if you have a group of friends or colleagues that you’d like to have me come and talk to at your home or place of employment, that’s doable too.
