Money Workshop for Victoria, B.C. Women

If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you know that I’m offering a workshop for women on Oct. 21, 2009 on Overcoming Under Earning, Empowering Yourself Financially.

In the workshop you will learn the definition of under earning – many people are surprised when they realize that they are under earners – learn the five secrets to overcoming it and leave with an action plan to end it.

There’s power in numbers and you’ll realize that you’re not alone, that there are lots of other women who feel the same way you do about money. So many of us brush our problems under the rug because of the shame we associate with being a certain way. I call it being in that Egyptian River called, “Denial.” Truth be told, there are lots of other sisters out there, myself included, with the same complicated relationship with money.

While most of us fight being uncomfortable, the fact is that the number one requirement for going to the next level in any area of your life is your willingness to feel that uncomfortable feeling. If you doubt this, think back to being a newbie at anything, it was incredibly frustrating at first. Think of a baby learning to walk or years ago when you used your first computer But discomfort led to comfort and in many cases to mastery, as in the case of Olympic athlete Usain Bolt.
